Swivel Pin Grease

Postby Steve L » Wed Nov 19, 2014 7:46 pm

As my 90 only has one filler plug on the housing I understand they are filled with grease. My question is are they filled and sealed for life or do they require topping up periodically?
One seal is weeping slightly and has not been getting worse, the other seal is ok, so I assume there's plenty of grease in them.

There's a very small level plug just next to the lockstop , put it on full lock with filler plug removed and shine a torch down the filler plug , if you can see the molytex 1/3 to 1/3 way up the cv then it's ok , if not top it up .
