winch wire
I'm hoping to get my winch fitted in the next couple of days. It's 2nd hand with a wire rope and I'm wondering what the best way to wind it on/layer it is?
It's pretty tidy anyway but I'm sure I'll want to play

In my view (which is of course very subjective!) - 11mm should be ample. If it's just for very occaisional use then as long as there's no obvious damage to the rope, a 2nd hand one should do fine if you can get one for the right money. Alternatively you could always wait for Santa to bring you a nice shiney new one
I would definately ditch the wire rope.
Cheers
