I've got a cheaper copy of a Dremel which has lasted quite well. There is a spring that forms a coupling between the motor and the collet. This fits round the two ends of the drive with the end of the spring fitting into the slotted ends of the motor and collet drive.
The problem I have is that one end of the spring has broken/worn out.
I thought about bending a bit of steel to make something to fit, but wondered if anyone knew of any where (preferably near Harrogate) that I could get a new spring?
