Rear X Members
My rear X member is getting pretty bad on the near side end so it will probably need replacing soon. It has already been replaced and looks like the extensions come about 6 to 9 inches up the chassis rail.
1. If I need to use even longer extensions it will mean replacing the spring seats as well. How hard is it to fit one of the x members with the spring seats? Anything to beware of?
2. Is there any benefit/problem in going for a TD5 style X member? I know the tub fits the other side of the tabs on them but will the floor supports/spring seats be in the right place?
3. Any other advice?
