Hi

Can anyone recomend an MOT station that is sympathetic to land rovers around the Harrogate area, I am not looking for a 'dodgy' MOT just someone that isnt excessivly strict )

Not sure about Harrogate/Knaresborough stations I take mine to Maddison 4x4 these days and let them sort it out - less hassle that way.

I've never used them myself but Newnham Street Garage are very much into their Land Rovers - in fact I think Simon who runs it is/was a club member and has trialled with us a couple of times (and I'm sure we bumped into his parents on the Ferry when we went to the Belgium National once too...)

I think they have a fairly good reputation although as I say I have no personal experience of them other than buying a few parts off them about 10 years ago.
