Turbo Troubles
My hybrid has a 300Tdi Disco 1 engine that Andy Summers and I installed a few years ago - its now done around 140,000 miles. It's been working brilliantly but has recently been lacking power - noticeable up steep hills. Fuel consumption has gone down from around 29-30 mpg in June to 24-25 mpg now. S...

What's best for self recovery in sandy, muddy or rocky conditions? Because of space (and money) limitations, I'm looking for one tool that will do all the following. I know that means compromise, but what do you use/recommend? 1) Something that I can put under the wheels to help traction in mud and ...

Bilstein Dampers and a 2" lift
I'm considering getting some Bilstein dampers for my 88" coil-sprung 300Tdi hybrid. I'm using red and white springs all round which gives me around 2" of lift. Bilstein don't do a +2" spring, does anyone have any experience of using these dampers with raised suspension?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Which Winch
I'd like to buy a winch suitable for self-recovery with a maximum budget of around £500. There seems to be a lot of choice out there (Goodwinch, Superwinch, Warrior etc), but can anyone recommend anything? I need something that will handle the occasional dunking and that requires the minimum of mai...

Charge Warning Light
I replaced the alternator in the (Disco) 300Tdi in my hybrid in August 2012 with a new (Denso) part from Paddocks. However, the charge warning light has just started coming on intermittently, independant of the load on the alternator. I have a dash-mounted voltemeter which I've checked against a goo...
