Defo what Matthew said, I never locked my 90 - ever. In ossett and horbury literally dozens of defenders have gone walkies over the years, some to regular thefts and some to a gang using a hiab car transporter. No one touched mine 8) Problem is organised gangs who do this professionally. They turn u...

i would also agree with Paul - springs dont tend to go 'off'. If they are really showing their age then they might have sagged and your ride height will drop. But from what you said, that hasnt happened. So unless you are trying to squeeze enormous tyres under the arches or want to drive a really to...

If you go somewhere that will press out the old ones, you might as well buy some gen metalastic bushes and have them pressed in while you are there. IMO they are by far the best bushes and give a much better ride than Poly's. Had deflex and genuine polybush red in mine and both felt too hard. Both h...

Never had any success with injector cleaners in the fuel. If they are gummed up, only sure fire way of sorting them is to recon / replace. Alternatively you can run the engine at a fast idle and spray a fine mist of water into the inlet manifold. If its carbon build up, this should clean it up,, but...

We might have some spare sides, the windows in them aren't brilliant but the sides are straight... slightly straighter than the ones in Pam's I think ! Are yours the original accident damaged ones still then ? If you want a cheap solution to rattling and leaking windows Sikaflex is a cheap and easy...

my plans for the engine preheater are to have a small 'tank' made that will go inline on the bottom radiator hose. Inside the tank will be a small immersion heater element. Run the cables up the side of the radiator to a caravan plug behind the grill. Fit a caravan plug and normal plug to a length o...

i've had several reasonable offers  so thanks for considering and all that! However, I also had an offer from a chap at work and when the chips were down and a firm offer of cash was handed to me... something very strange happened. My heart was in my throat, I felt sick and sweated like an MP...

whats it worth question
yeah, i know - how longs a bit of string etc.,..... but i genuinely have no idea - not even a vague guess - as to how much my 90 is worth. Basically I'm not really using it very much and have only been able to attend 3 events last year and 3 the year before that. So its way to uncomfortable ...

its knackered i;m afraid. your front pinion bearing is/has/about to collapse. Once movement in and out is noticeable it usually means new diff time - as the meshing of the gears will have changed and 'worn' the pinion and crown wheel mating surfaces, even if it hasnt actually knackered it and you ar...
