I like the idea of having a porch on the back, be dead handy to get some shade when you're sat on the tailgate eating your cucumber sandwiches.

Any more pics of the conversion process? Or perhaps if it's still in that (or similar) state, I wouldn't mind a look at it if it's not too inconvenient - it's part of my (very) long term plan to do something similar.

I don't recon much to the wooden grill pannel, I hope you are going to stain it before varnishing and waxing to a fine lustre.
I have included a couple of ideas for you: The classic "In Loving Memory" and the ever so popular "Deacon's Bench". Hope this helps.

Bo!

PS is the clue that you are going to turf it??

You need some matching seats, go to the for sale section, Jim's got four pine ones that will go just nicely...

I managed to take this sneak photo of Rods motor whilst he wasn't looking, now I understand why he's been colecting pallets.

Rod, that looks fantastic! :)

Only trouble is that your workmanship makes me feel like scrapping my rough-@rsed effort :(

Can't wait to see it out and about. It'll look great on camera :)
