Bit of a problem with the 110, maybe ignition related?
Evening all, My 110 is playing silly buggers. Started off with what seemed like a slight misfire and within a couple of miles it had got to the stage where it would tick over quite happily, but when you give it any amount of throttle it would cough and splutter. If you are gentle with the throttle a...

Thanks for the reply Dave, I had hoped to be able to post that I had found the problem this weekend but as it hasn't at any point stopped raining here long enough for the ground to dry out and I've nowhere undercover that the 110 will fit I've not had a chance to look at it. Hopefully I'll get time ...

vibrations from somewhere in the drivetrain
Something on my 110 is causing it to rumble/vibrate when travelling at about 50-60mph and when there's some slack in the drivetrain, i.e. when cruising along at a steady pace. It seems to go away if you either floor it or back of completely. I've had a bit of a wiggle about underneath and I can't fi...

Are you going to mix your own fuel for it ? Be handy if your house uses oil fired heating ! I will be doing when I get it going. I'll have to find somewhere to buy the kerosene from through as we're still in the stone age here heated by open fires. There should be somewhere local I can get it in sm...

Did it take much to get it running (as opposed to getting it moving )? I'll let you know if/when I actually do get it to run! I've not even tried so far, at least in part due to me not having a suitable battery for it (it's a 6V model), but also as someone seems to have put a 12V coil on it so I ne...

Next time you worry that the inside of your engine might be getting a little dirty, click here for an image to give you some comfort that yours isn't really that bad! Looks like I've got some cleaning to do! I'm hoping I can get away without needing a full rebuild but we'll see what I find when I ta...

What are the polybush colours, I have red on the defender but cant remember what the colour code was. From memory the reds are the rock hard ones, the blues are softer. I was warned off the reds as some people seem to think they're so hard that you can end up damaging the holes in the suspension ar...
