How have you connected the pipes to the new box ? Was chatting to Patrick about some bits and pieces and mentioned it to him, he says the pipes on the 3 bolt vs the 4 bolt are easy to get crossed over and, if that does happen, you get the symptoms you describe. From what he says it sounds like the p...

The MSA don't really go into those levels of detail in their regs. The MSA regs are designed to cover a huge range of vehicles and provide a base set of safety and organisational regs. The ALRC regs have a tendency to focus on trivia, there are all sorts of weird and wonderful regulations they are s...

Although there are benefits from TC the benefits aren't so huge that they seem to give any more benefit than, say, a decent pair of tyres. The same applies to limited slip diffs as we also have a couple of vehicles competing with those too - we may even have some vehicles with auto locking diffs for...

We are obliged to run our events to MSA regulations in order to take advantage of the insurance and liability cover etc.... The MSA have a set of rules that cover all aspects of off road events as well as covering nearly all other forms of 4 wheeled motorsport in the UK. Some rules we can overrule w...

Hi Gaz, Yes, it's ex-military, been told it's ex-RAF from the service number, one day I'll get round to rejoining EMLRA and get a search done to find out where it's been. This is what it looked like when I bought it.... http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/vehicles/bgs/images/IMG_0019.jpg The new cag...

PG Winches.... http://www.winchrepairs.co.uk/mambo/index.php There are a number of different types of solenoid with varying current and varying levels of water proofing. This often accounts for the difference in price. You want a DC88-398 PL ideally, the DC88-276P is cheaper but has a smaller contac...

Given the choice between waxoil and schutz I'd go with waxoil both inside and outside the chassis. I'd also use it where you can on the inside of steel structures such as door pillars on RRC and Bulkhead on a Defender. The Schutz gun can be used to apply it, especially on the outside, works reasonab...
