That one seems a bit pricey just for the E+B. Could be either btw I think I probably will swap the back axle as well (will need a longer prop though). I had thought that one thing in that one's favour is the leather interior that looks fairly tidy which I would hope would sell for sensible money. I...

At what age did that come in? I'm considering going for a look at this:

Is it just me or does that look lifted?

If ure putting bigger wheels on I'd recomend swapping ure 110's transfer box onto the Disco auto box assuming your 110 has a 1.41 My 110 is a 1.6 so it's probably too low, I'll need to try and find a 1.4 as I assume the 1.2 that comes with the disco will be too high for my 110 with 235/85 tyres. 300Tdi Auto Disco - what to look out for?
I'm on the hunt for an auto disco as an engine/box donor for my 110, probably a 300Tdi. Given I've never had a diesel or an auto Landy before I don't really know what to be looking at when I look at one. So what are the common faults to look out for? I'm obviously most bothered about the engine and ...

Ta for that, we'll give the filter and breathers a good check over and see what difference that makes. I know it'll always be a bit smokey but at the moment it is excessive and I doubt it would pass an MoT (which presumably calls for no visible smoke at tickover?). We have only run it for 15-20min s...

S2A diesel blue smoke
Evening all. We've bought an old S2A for Connor to rebuild for when he's 17 (which gives him 18 months to do it...). It's a 1967 diesel and has supposedly been sat in a barn for the last 15 years. Well today we managed to get it running, remarkably all it took was to swap the water pump for one that...

So I assume then that bonding like this is belt an braces but worth sorting out just in case. It's partly belt and braces but mostly to make sure that a faulty water heater or shower or whatever can't make the pipes go live. With the pipes bonded to earth any such fault will result in a fuse/mcb bl...

Re: Earth Bonding your house
Can anyone tell me what to do about re-earthing the house if I now have plastic pipes.? Would the removal of the lead create more problems than it is worth in scrap? It is almost certainly still earthed through the supply to your house. Check where the meter is and there should be an earth wire fro...

Exhaust repair clamps?
I've had to take part of the Rimmer Bros Stainless Sports exhaust off the 110 and although the pipework is all stainless it seems some of the clamp pieces that hold it together are only made in mild steel and after 10 years are starting to show their age. There are two joints that are clamped togeth...

I've never used them myself but Newnham Street Garage are very much into their Land Rovers - in fact I think Simon who runs it is/was a club member and has trialled with us a couple of times (and I'm sure we bumped into his parents on the Ferry when we went to the Belgium National once too...) I thi...
