We attended Chris’s funeral yesterday. It was a sincere & simple ceremony, very much reflecting the Chris we knew. It was apparent he had led an interesting life. Cant believe he has gone. Very sad.

Whats the best oil to use in the manual gearbox on a 300 tdi
my manual says atf but i think this is wrong only applying to the lt77
also i have seen on a forum suggesting 80/90rear iol
also is there a filter the LT77 has one but this is not mentioned in the manual

Before I trail my new 1995 300 TDI 90 I am thinking about buying a swing away spare wheel carrier even though I usually remove the spare wheel when trialing Anyone bought one, there are a lot out there at prices from £120 to over £500 I need it to swing with the door Any thoughts ?? dave Willard

Looking there seem to be a lot around mainly the moulded one piece & the tube metal/plastic with felexible joints
