Well.....I Was bored one windy wet evening the other day,switched on the Laptop and flicked thru Ebay.Wasnt really looking for anything in particular but stumbled accross a Disco with a Buy It Now button,it read well....full test and lots of foto's of the work done,there was even a video giving a guided tour of the car!!!!!!...so...I had to hit the button!! (I am weak) !
Went upto Gateshead. looked all over it,went for a spin and payed the man! 100 miles later its sat on my drive next to the un finished Rangie :)


Am Hoping to swap all my bits over this week,then will marshall at Frickley to give it a bit of a shakedown run.....Will slap some fotos up as i go along!

Sorry fell asleep after 2 mins! In between the foreign language I believe he said he had done extensive work to the vehicle. What S*%t conition was it in when he got it!! :P (Nice working door handle though)

Yeah he did Richard,Poor guy..He is a pest controller,He bought it as a basket case and spent all his time welding and doing all the work,He finished it then went to his first farm.The farmer promptly said that there is NO WAY he can drive his 2 ton Disco across his fields without ruining them,and the next 2 farmers said pretty much same,so he had to sell it and has bought a Suzuki Jimny...which sadly broke down on his way home from collecting it...poor guy !...But Good for meee !!!!!!!

Ouch that sucks for the guy, bet he never thought of getting a trailer for the disco and putting a quad on it ). Sounds like you did well, but I wish you hadnt mentioned the Jimny I was set on getting one )

Well..the little orange Jimny doesnt seem to break down....the rear wheel bearing collapsed on this guy's,Jap stuff is reliable....You can compete with the "Orange" one if you get one too !
